Hello! I’m MEF Beats!

MEF Beats aka Felea Emil

A dedicated music producer and passionate about music.

Musical styles I produce:

To be honest, I can’t say that I limit myself to one musical style. I create music from a variety of genres and I can’t stop at just one.

I generally produce lofi instrumental music and urban instrumentals like hip-hop, rap or trap.

Recently, I have become extremely passionate about moombahton music, a Balkan musical style with Afro-reggaeton influences, inspired by a YouTube channel called Xworks. Tv.

I also love to remix music that I like. I have an affinity for remixing commercial tracks, often transforming them into moombahton or even afro house music.

Basically, I like to explore and experiment with different sounds and genres, keeping my creativity and passion for music always alive.

I’m taking a break from lofi music production and will focus on making mixes to attract a variety of new fans on YouTube and other audio streaming platforms.

History:

Although I have been listening to music from different musical spheres for as long as I can remember, I must mention that the first time I had anything to do with music was when I was 13, in the 7th grade, when a classmate and I started writing rap lyrics.

We would compete to write the best and most lyrics as possible. Although I didn’t have the same talent as my classmate when it came to writing lyrics, I probably had a greater passion than him.

At 14 years old!

At 14, in the 8th grade, we thought about singing those lyrics. We would download free instrumentals from the internet and record ourselves with a desk microphone of the worst quality, using Virtual DJ, a DJ program totally unsuitable for what we wanted to do.

We sang a lot of love songs, because our passion was born during a time when we were in love with every beautiful girl.

Do you know what our music sounded like? Terrible!

Over time, I became more passionate about the “Virtual DJ” program than about lyrics or singing.

At 15 years old!

Starting at the age of 15, I had to break up with my classmate with whom I did so much, because we entered different high schools and we could no longer meet as often, especially since we started meeting new colleagues and friends.

I cannot go on without mentioning the fact that I am writing this story for the readers’ understanding and I must be more specific about my colleague Angheluta Cristi Marian with whom I wrote and recorded countless songs.

I said he was a colleague, which he was, but he was actually my best friend. We liked to call each other brothers and a lot of people thought we were brothers and that we looked alike; in a way we really are brothers.

Between 15 and 19 years old!

During high school, I tested several music making programs. Virtual DJ was no longer satisfying me, so I tried more serious DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) programs like Pro Tools, Studio One, Cubase, FL Studio and other programs that over time proved to be a waste of time.

Finally, I stopped at FL Studio and I can say that now there is no button or automation that I don’t know what to do.

In the meantime, I created a YouTube channel where I posted my projects, namely hip-hop instrumentals and rap beats. Many local rappers and MCs, but not only, appreciated me and recorded on my instrumentals.

Everything was going well, until I infected my computer due to pirated software downloads. The attacker (hacker) uploaded dubious videos to my YouTube channel, which led to the channel being shut down.

I started over and managed to get here, where all my work can now be found online.

Achievements:

I managed to make a contract with a music distributor who will distribute my music on most music streaming platforms such as YouTube Music, Spotify, iTune Music, etc… and claim my money from listening.

I am also in the partnership program with YouTube.
